PORTFOLIO PREP PROGRAMS

grades 7th & older

Curriculum will assist high school and college transfer students in developing their portfolios for college admissions. Students will be encouraged to portray their inner voices in their body of works. Portfolios developed by students from Shineh Art Studio have historically been well received by college representatives. Furthermore Shineh Art Studio has periodic visits from representatives from notable art colleges for portfolio feedback and presentations at our studio!

* Activities include:

  • Potential opportunities to compete at local, state and national art competitions.
  • Lesson Plans tailored to individual students.
  • Once-a-month Figure Model Session: Students work from direct observations of a live model.
  • Invited to attend college presentations & provided with a chance to receive one-on-one reviews with each art school admission counselor/director.
