JUNIOR FINE ARTS
Grades K - 5th
BEGINNERS ARE WELCOME!
Classes will focus on basic fundamental concepts of visual arts for children in grades K - 5th. The program will also help students build a strong foundation to create realistic drawings and paintings as they progress. Students will be introduced to various art mediums as well as art styles while learning about different artists that have shaped art forms that we enjoy today. Many of the fun projects are inspired by or relate to great masters of art! Exposure to various approaches to visual arts will allow young artists to expand their skills and creativity.
Junior Fine Arts level students will learn to use various mediums: pencils, colored pencils, markers, watercolor, oil pastels and clay. Classes are held weekly and are 60 minutes long. Small Class Sizes-12 students maximum.
Activities include: Fun potential opportunities to compete at the region at large, state, and/or local competitions.
Art supplies: Each Junior Fine Arts student must bring his/her own art bin to every class. Please purchase the following art supplies: Junior Fine Arts Supply List.
