Join year-round classes and camps led by Director Shineh, with over 20 years of experience and a proven record of student awards and top college admissions. Guided by our philosophy, Confidence Leads to Creativity, students grow into confident, well-rounded artists in a supportive environment with small class sizes. Whether starting for the first time or preparing a portfolio, students follow a carefully designed path that balances skill-building, creativity, and self-expression. Every artwork reflects their unique journey, helping them develop patience, focus, and problem-solving skills while creating pieces they can be proud of.
JUNIOR FINE ARTS
Grades K - 5
For beginners and young artists who are curious about art and love exploring creativity — no prior experience required. Students explore drawing, painting, and other mediums in a warm, non-competitive environment, building confidence and creative expression from the ground up.
INTERMEDIATE FINE ARTS
Grades 6 - 7
For students who enjoy drawing and/or painting at home and want to refine their skills — all skill levels welcome. Programs focus on strengthening observational and technical skills, experimenting with multiple mediums, and encouraging creative confidence in personal expression.
ADVANCED FINE ARTS
Grades 8 - 12
For students who are ready to refine techniques and expand artistic vision — beginners with dedication and experienced students alike can thrive. Classes emphasize advanced skill development, critical thinking in art, and creative exploration — the ideal foundation for students preparing for portfolio development.
PORTFOLIO PREP / SUPPLEMENTAL PORTFOLIO
Grades 7 - 12 & College transfer students
Designed for middle school students preparing for high school art magnet programs, high school students, and college transfer students who want to build a strong, meaningful portfolio. Whether applying to art magnet programs, art colleges, or strengthening applications to competitive non-art majors, students create work that showcases individuality and reflects a proven record of success in highly selective admissions, including prestigious universities.
BY INVITATION ONLY
New students are asked to bring recent drawings and paintings completed within the past year for placement review.
SUMMER CAMPS
Grades K - 12
Our Summer Camps invite learning artists in all skill levels to explore the exciting world of visual arts in a fun and supportive studio environment. Each week features engaging themes, hands-on projects, and guided instruction that strengthens creativity, observation, and confidence — and students leave with a vibrant take-home portfolio of their work. Space is limited, and camps run alongside our weekly classes — early registration is encouraged.
