BEGINNERS ARE WELCOME!

An intensive art program which involves advanced drawing and painting techniques. Students will work from direct observations and/or from 2-D formatted images to recreate their own compositions. Students will be encouraged to develop their individual skills while utilizing fundamental drawing and painting techniques / concepts.

Advanced Fine Arts level students are expected to know how to use the basics of both dry and wet mediums, including charcoal, collage, watercolor, acrylic & oil paint, etc. Classes are held weekly and are 90 minutes long. Small Class Sizes-14 students maximum.

Activities include:

• Potential opportunities to compete at local, state, region at large and/or national art competitions.
• Lesson plans tailored to individual students.
• Invited to attend annual college presentations/events at Shineh Art Studio.​

Art supplies:

• Each Advanced Fine Arts student must bring his/her own art bin to every class. Please purchase the following art supplies: Advanced Fine Arts Supply List.
