JUNIOR FINE ARTS
Grades K - 5th
BEGINNERS ARE WELCOME!
Classes focus on the fundamentals of visual arts, helping students build a strong foundation for creating realistic drawings and paintings as they progress. Students explore a variety of art mediums and styles while learning about influential artists. Many projects are inspired by or connected to the great masters, encouraging creativity and skill development.;Exposure to various approaches to visual arts will allow young artists to expand their skills and creativity.
Students use pencils, colored pencils, markers, watercolor, oil pastels, and clay. Classes are held weekly for 60 minutes, with small class sizes (max 12 students).
Activities: Opportunities to participate in local, regional, or state art competitions.
Each student must bring their own art bin to every class. Please purchase the required supplies:
