What's due at registration

To reserve a space, the following must be submitted together: the completed online registration form, the applicable tuition amount, and a one-time $45 registration fee per new student. No registration fee is required for summer camps.

Payments & fees

• To ensure a guaranteed spot, tuition must be received before the start of class.
• Tuition cannot be transferred between sessions or months due to poor attendance or missed classes. No refunds are provided for cancellations made less than three weeks prior to the start of any session, for missed classes, or for dismissal due to discipline issues.
• A $25 fee will be charged for late payment and $40 for each returned check.

Tuition discounts

• Enroll your child for the full or half school year and receive a tuition discount.
• 5% younger sibling discount: when two or more children from the same family enroll, younger siblings receive a 5% discount on all tuition plans, including installments. See the tuition calculator in each program description for details.
• These offers cannot be further discounted or combined with any other offer.
• No tuition discounts apply to summer camps.

Cancellations

• Cancellations made three or more weeks prior to the start of monthly, half-year, full-year terms, or camps will receive a refund minus a $100 cancellation fee.
• No refunds for cancellations made less than three weeks before the start of any term or camp. No exceptions.
• Cancellations and changes will not be honored without written notification.

Why attendance matters

Each class builds on the one before it, and consistent attendance is the foundation of your child's growth in the studio. Our years of experience have shown that students thrive in a steady, supportive environment — and we ask all families to make regular attendance a priority.

A note on availability: our classes run at full capacity, and open make-up spots are genuinely rare. While we do our best to accommodate every request, we cannot guarantee a make-up slot will be available when you need one. This is another reason we ask families to treat attendance as a priority — a missed class is often simply missed.

How to request a make-up

A completed make-up request form must be submitted at least 24 hours before the absence — this is the only accepted method. The form will not accept past dates, so please plan ahead. All decisions are made through the form, recorded directly on our studio calendar, and are final.

Make-up eligibility & rules

• Make-up classes are offered as a courtesy and are not guaranteed.
• To be eligible, a completed make-up request form must be submitted at least 24 hours before the absence. The form will not accept past dates.
• Make-up classes must be scheduled and completed within the same term as the absence, based on availability.
• Once a make-up is scheduled, the spot is reserved exclusively for your child and cannot be rescheduled or changed. If that session is missed, it will be considered used.
• Studio closures do not count toward your make-up allowance and will be handled separately.
• Absences cannot be credited or deducted from tuition. No refunds or rollovers will be issued for missed classes.
• Eligible make-ups are valid only during active enrollment — they expire upon withdrawal and do not carry over upon re-enrollment.

Extended absences

If your child will be missing multiple classes due to an ongoing commitment, please reach out to us in advance. If another slot is available, we will do our best to temporarily accommodate a class time switch. Please note that returning to the original class time is subject to space availability.

Drop-off & pick-up

• Classes begin and end at the specified times. Please be punctual.
• Parents are required to drop off and pick up students promptly at the beginning and end of class.
• A late charge of $25 per child will be assessed if a child is picked up more than 5 minutes after class ends. An additional $25 fee will be charged for every 10 minutes thereafter.

Guests

Because enrollment is limited per session, we regret that guests may not be brought to class.

Property

Shineh Art Studio, LLC does not accept responsibility for loss, damage, or theft of any student's personal property.

Discipline

Any student found to be disruptive to the program or instructors may be dismissed from the session with no refund.

Photography & artwork

By enrolling, you grant Shineh Art Studio, LLC permission to use photographs of your child and their artwork for future promotional purposes. Your child's name will not be used to identify them in any publication without your consent. No compensation is provided to individuals featured in the images.

Medical & liability release

By enrolling, the parent or guardian agrees that each student is required to carry their own accident and medical insurance. Shineh Art Studio, LLC and its instructors are released from any and all liability, claims, and damages of any kind — known or unknown — arising out of or in any way connected with the student's participation, including personal injury, illness, accident, or property loss. In the event of a medical emergency, Shineh Art Studio may contact emergency services on the student's behalf but assumes no obligation or responsibility for any medical decisions, costs, or outcomes. Enrollment constitutes full and binding acceptance of this release.

Enrollment in any class or program constitutes full acceptance of all studio policies.
