At Shineh Art Studio, our young artists create original works and choose to make them matter. Art for Earth is a for-profit giving initiative of Shineh Art Studio, LLC — not a nonprofit, and purchases aren't tax-deductible. A portion of each sale goes to the student artist, and a portion is donated to vetted nonprofits supporting reforestation, animal rescue, and ocean cleanup. Student-led art with purpose: beautiful to own, powerful to give.

T H E   C A U S E S   W E   S U P P O R T

Where every dollar actually goes.

We spent significant time researching which organizations are truly transparent, efficient, and accountable. We verified each and we chose only organizations where we were satisfied that donations make a real and measurable difference.

Our standard: We select organizations that direct 80% or more of funds to direct programs, with publicly audited financials and independent 4-star ratings.

A portion of every sale goes to deeply vetted nonprofits across three causes we care about:

Reforestation

Rainforest Trust

Protects rainforest habitat across dozens of countries, with the vast majority of every donation going directly to conservation work.

American Forests

America's oldest national conservation nonprofit, working to bring trees to cities and communities that need them most.

Casey Trees

Urban tree planting serving our DC/MD/VA region directly.

Animal Welfare & Rescue

Best Friends Animal Society

The nation's largest no-kill animal sanctuary, working with a nationwide network of shelters and rescue groups.

Animal Welfare Institute

Policy-focused advocacy protecting animals across factory farms, laboratories, wildlife, and domestic pets.

Montgomery County Humane Society

Our local community shelter, serving Montgomery County, Maryland directly.

Earth & Ocean Cleanup

The Ocean Cleanup

Removes plastic from oceans and rivers worldwide using advanced cleanup technology.

Ocean Conservancy

Runs the International Coastal Cleanup and advocates for clean water and ocean policy globally.

Chesapeake Bay Foundation

The leading conservation organization for Maryland's most important waterway, right in our backyard.
