About this program
Studio Arts is for the student who comes to art for the pure joy of it. No competitions, no deadlines. Just real skill-building, and the lasting pride of becoming a well-rounded artist. No prior background required. The curriculum covers every essential element of fine arts: drawing, composition, perspective, color theory, and painting across multiple mediums — oil, acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, and mixed media. Projects are structured and purposeful, drawing inspiration from the great masters while always encouraging each student's own unique voice.
Beginners and returning students thrive side by side, each growing at a pace that feels right for them. There is no pressure here — just genuine artistic development in a warm, encouraging studio.

begin building a college portfolio are warmly encouraged to consider Studio Honors & Portfolio Prep — when the time feels right for them. There is never any pressure.
Art for Earth: Studio Arts, Studio Honors and Portfolio Prep students
